Affordable Burial Options & Funeral Home Services
For families who choose burial over cremation, we can work with you to plan a variety of service details to meet most family’s needs. Many families select a graveside burial service, or they may desire a viewing and a service at their church, or at a funeral home, prior to burial. Our charges do not cover any expenses you may incur from the cemetery, which are beyond our control.
As a fully licensed funeral home, our funeral directors can assist you with planning the memorialization of your loved one. Our price for simple cremation is competitive with local firms that are licensed as “Direct Disposers”. These cremation service providers may be fine for your family’s needs, if you do not need their assistance with planning a funeral service. By law, direct disposers are forbidden to plan, discuss or facilitate any funeral services. We, as a fully licensed funeral home, can answer all your questions, make suggestions, and even facilitate and direct your memorial service, or, traditional service, followed by cremation, rather than burial.
There are essentially two types of funeral services associated with cremation. In one, the body is not present, but, if enough time has passed, the cremated remains may be. We in the business call this a Memorial Service or Service of Remembrance.
The other, a Traditional Cremation Service provides for viewing of the body in a casket. Some families choose to have a fully viewing or wake service prior to the formal funeral service. Just like with burial. The only difference – we don’t go to the cemetery after the service.
There are many options available to you- too many to list here. But we are always happy to talk about them with you. To give you an idea, here is some more information about these options, specific to our funeral home
